6 week Complete Childbirth Education Series

This class will meet for 2 hours once per week for 6 weeks and will cover all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.  We will also cover comfort measures for the early stages of labor, standard hospital procedures, and basic new baby and mother care. (will soon be medical coupon eligible) $160 per mother/pair,  Classes run in a 6 week cycle, so they can be started at any point and run for 6 weeks and all subjects will be covered.

 

6 week Natural Childbirth Education Series

This class is geared towards parents that plan on a home birth, or natural childbirth (unmedicated) in or out of the hospital.  We will cover all the basic pregnancy, birth, and postpartum information with extensive and special emphasis on comfort measures to cope with labor without pain medications or intervention. (Will soon be medical coupon eligible) $160 per mother/pair, Contact us if interested so we can set a date and time once we have 4 couples.

 

Weekend Natural Childbirth Retreat/ Couples Getaway​

A weekend getaway for couples.  The same curriculum as the natural childbirth class (all 12 hours) split over 2 days at a retreat facility.  An opportunity for bonding and a romantic getaway before baby arrives. $250 per couple plus cost of accommodations, date and location TBA

 

One day "Just the Basics"​

12 hours of curriculum chopped down to just the basics, given in 5 hours (2 2.5 hour sessions with an hour lunch provided). $80 per mother/partner. Date will be set when we have 4 mothers/pairs expressing interest.

 

Life With Baby

If you have little to no childcare experience, and have a baby on the way, this class is for you.  We will cover basic care, feeding, baby needs, and the information you need to begin life as a parent.  A 2 hour course $20 per mother/pair, date and location TBA

 

Breastfeeding Success​

A 3 hour course on Breastfeeding, how it works, what you will need, and how to succeed.  We will cover the basic physiology, important steps, how to get a good latch, positions, challenges and remedies, pumping, expressing, and how to get enough sleep. $30 per mother/pair,  location disclosed via email, contact us for more information (click link below)

 

Going it Alone: support for single moms

We want to help equip you with the tools to not only survive, but to thrive and enjoy every day with your baby.  This class is for expectant moms, or moms with new babies (birth to 1 year).  We will meet twice per month and have different speakers, topics, and resources at each meeting.  Meetings last 2 hours with refreshments and socializing after.
